Counsel Warned After Morgan & Morgan Lapse In MDL

Law360, New York (October 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An Arkansas federal judge has ordered all counsel representing Pilgrim's Pride Corp. workers in multidistrict wage-and-hour litigation to stop soliciting workers to join the class action, saying any further violations will be “severely dealt with by the court.”

Judge Harry F. Barnes granted Pilgrim's Pride's motion to prohibit such conduct on Thursday, about a week after plaintiffs firm Morgan & Morgan PA admitted that one of its investigators had made “improper” contact with a Pilgrim's Pride employee.
