FTC Gains Support In Opposing Ga. Hospital Merger

Law360, New York (August 28, 2012, 3:53 PM EDT) -- A small-business advocacy group on Monday backed the Federal Trade Commission's challenge of Phoebe Putney Health Systems Inc.'s merger with a nearby rival, saying the hospital shouldn't face less antitrust scrutiny just because it has ties with a Georgia state agency.
