Clergy Sex Abuse Suit Not Time-Barred In Calif., Judge Says

Law360, New York (August 28, 2012, 6:03 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court ruled Monday that a provision in the state’s insurance code allows a plaintiff to seek damages from the Roman Catholic Church over alleged sexual abuse during his childhood, reversing a lower court’s dismissal of the complaint for being time-barred.
