US Finalizes Rule To Double Auto Fuel Efficiency By 2025

Law360, New York (August 28, 2012, 3:03 PM EDT) -- The White House announced Tuesday that it has finalized a new rule that will nearly double automotive fuel economy by increasing fuel efficiency standards to the equivalent of 54.5 miles per gallon for cars and light trucks by model year 2025.
