Summary Judgment Denied In Microsoft, CAC Spat

Law360, New York (October 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge on Thursday denied Microsoft Corp.'s motion for summary judgment of noninfringement for certain claims in a lawsuit brought by a patent-holding company.

District Court Judge Ron Clark told the company that “the summary judgment evidence does not eliminate all isseus of material fact pertaining to the three grounds asserted by Microsoft” against Computer Acceleration Corp. in a case over technology that speeds up the loading of computer programs.
