Firm Can't Seek Penalty It Paid For Convicted Worker: 3rd Circ.

Law360, New York (August 28, 2012, 9:02 PM EDT) -- The Third Circuit on Tuesday refused to award restitution to an environmental cleanup firm that paid compensation on behalf of an employee who took kickbacks and rigged bids for contracts at Superfund sites, saying the company isn't a victim and can't appeal the worker's sentence.
