Mobile App Privacy Efforts Hampered By Rough Rulemaking

Law360, New York (August 30, 2012, 7:02 PM EDT) -- Stakeholders participating in a White House-led meeting Wednesday agreed that their efforts to craft a voluntary privacy code for mobile app disclosures should begin with a basic understanding of how this technology works, but they worried that a lack of organization could undermine their progress as the process moves into its second stage.
