Cordis Says Aneurysm Device Claims Invalid

Law360 (October 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Cordis Corp. on Friday struck back at infringement accusers Boston Scientific Corp. and Target Therapeutics Corp., saying that several claims in a patent disclosing a device for treating aneurysms should no longer be held valid because the court has altered one claim's construction.

The Johnson & Johnson subsidiary filed a motion on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California asking the court to vacate its November 2005 ruling that the disputed claim is valid and seeking summary judgment of invalidity....
