Chip Makers Defend Their Right To Antitrust Trial

Law360 (October 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In Rambus’ consolidated patent case over memory devices, three chip manufacturers have attacked Rambus’ argument that they are not entitled to a jury trial on their antitrust and related counterclaims.

Hynix Semiconductor Inc., Nanya Technology Corp. and Micron Technology asserted in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Thursday that they have the right to a trial to present their antitrust, breach of contract and fraud cross-claims against Rambus.
