Law360, Houston (August 31, 2012, 8:54 PM EDT) -- Texas’ high court on Friday nixed a landowner’s bid for up to $70 million from the state after the federal government denied it a permit to sell wetland mitigation credits and the state subsequently designated portions of the land as a protected water source.
