Samsung, Anu Settle Thumb Drive Patent Fight

Law360, New York (September 5, 2012, 3:24 PM EDT) -- Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. on Tuesday settled a pair of patent actions brought in Texas federal court and the U.S. International Trade Commission by patent-holding company Anu IP LLC, ending allegations that the tech giant infringed a patent covering retractable USB devices.

Anu and Samsung agreed to dismiss the suit in Texas with prejudice, and both moved for the ITC to terminate its investigation as it relates to Samsung pursuant to the terms of a settlement agreement, according to court documents.
