Railroads Get Partial Win In Derailment Insurance Suit

Law360, New York (September 5, 2012, 4:59 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Tuesday partially rejected attempts by Nipponkoa Insurance Co. Ltd. and Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. to hold two railroad companies liable for damaged freight in a long-brewing coverage dispute over an April 2006 train derailment in Texas.
