Tech Cos. Push For Rehearing In Abstract Patent Cases

Law360, New York (September 5, 2012, 8:24 PM EDT) -- A slew of companies, including British Airways PLC and eHarmony Inc., on Wednesday joined CLS Bank International's request that the full Federal Circuit rehear a case concerning when abstract concepts implemented on a computer do not violate a statutory prohibition against patents on abstract ideas.
