Inventor Group Aims To Shoot Down Patent Reform Bill

Law360 (July 25, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of professional inventors has launched a lobbying campaign to defeat a sweeping proposal to overhaul the U.S. patent system, calling the bill unconstitutional and bad news for small businesses.

The Professional Inventors Alliance USA, which was founded more than a decade ago and claims to represents several thousand U.S. inventors, said it aimed to shoot down the “Patent Reform Act of 2005” even before it makes it to the House Floor for a vote.
