Swiss Defendants Get Accutane Claims Dismissed

Law360, New York (October 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Claims continue to be stripped from the Accutane multidistrict litigation, with a judge on Monday dismissing Swiss defendants F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. and Roche Holding Ltd. from the case.

Judge James S. Moody of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida said that he didn't have personal jurisdiction over the defendants, and granted partial final summary judgment in all of the psychiatric cases the two companies faced in the litigation.
