Judge Approves Quality Home Loans Deals

Law360, New York (October 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A bankruptcy judge has approved an agreement between bankrupt lender Quality Home Loans and Countrywide Home Loans Inc., allowing a third party to buy back QHL mortgages from Countrywide in order to securitize them.

On Tuesday, Judge Geraldine Mund of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California approved an agreement between QHL and Countrywide along with an agreement between Terwin Advisors LLC and the bankrupt lender.
