Omega Creditors Blast Exclusion From Ch. 11 Plan Talks

Law360, New York (September 11, 2012, 5:50 PM EDT) -- Unsecured creditors of Omega Navigation Enterprises Inc. on Tuesday slammed the Greek oil shipper’s Chapter 11 reorganization plan, telling a Texas bankruptcy judge they were unfairly excluded from plan negotiations.

A committee of unsecured creditors said Omega filed the plan Aug. 3 without giving them any say over the contents of the documents, which will determine how the company will emerge from court protection.
