2 More Arrested In Hacking, Bribery Probes Of British Press

Law360, New York (September 11, 2012, 6:21 PM EDT) -- London police arrested two men Tuesday as part of ongoing investigations into phone hacking by British journalists and the bribes they allegedly paid law enforcement officials.

A 31-year-old prison officer was arrested at his home in Northampton, England, by officers investigating the alleged bribery, according to Scotland Yard. He was detained based on information provided by the News Corp. management standards committee, which was set up in the wake of the phone-hacking scandal that has roiled Rupert Murdoch's media empire.
