Novel Latest Drugmaker Sued By Purdue Over Insomnia Drug

Law360, New York (September 12, 2012, 8:46 PM EDT) -- Purdue Pharmaceutical Products LP hit Novel Laboratories Inc. with a patent infringement suit Tuesday as part of its ongoing battle to protect its insomnia treatment Intermezzo, claiming the generic drugmaker's bid to produce its own version of the drug violates Purdue's licensing rights to the product.
