Dallas DA Picks Judge To Lead Civil Litigation Division

Law360, Dallas (September 12, 2012, 8:33 PM EDT) -- A Texas state judge will join the Dallas County District Attorney's Office as the head of its civil litigation division, where she will counsel local agencies and elected officials, the office announced Tuesday.

Judge Teresa Guerra Snelson, who served as an associate judge for the Dallas County District Court for eight years, will leave the bench in October to oversee a 16-attorney department that counsels the county's Commissioners Court, elected officials and county employees.
