Ex-Tribune Examiner Urges Judge To End Retention Period

Law360, New York (September 13, 2012, 8:26 PM EDT) -- The former examiner to the Tribune Co. bankruptcy asked a Delaware bankruptcy judge Thursday to deny a company executive's request to extend the retention period for documents from his investigative record, arguing that doing so would expose him to unnecessary harassment.

Former Tribune bankruptcy examiner Kenneth N. Klee dismissed as unnecessary a motion from Chief Financial Officer Chandler Bigelow that would require Klee to retain thousands of documents from his investigation of the bankruptcy.
