Peabody Seeks To Toss Coudert's $9M Lobbying Clawback Suit

Law360, New York (September 13, 2012, 9:12 PM EDT) -- Peabody Energy Corp. on Thursday sought to dismiss defunct law firm Coudert Brothers LLP’s $9 million clawback suit seeking fees for lobbying work the firm and its successor did for Peabody as it fought so-called “black lung” excise taxes, saying it never agreed to pay.
