Calpine Trustee Wants Advisers' Fees Slashed

Law360, New York (October 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Trustee overseeing Calpine Corp.'s Chapter 11 case has lashed out at $50.9 million in interim fees and expenses being sought by the bankrupt energy company's legal and financial advisers, saying the professionals have already been paid over $200 million and that full payment of the fees would be “inappropriate.”
