US Steel Says ADA Can't Bar Alcohol Tests Needed For Safety

Law360, New York (September 14, 2012, 6:08 PM EDT) -- The Americans With Disabilities Act cannot bar employers from administering worker alcohol tests if such screening is needed for a safe and productive workplace, U.S. Steel Corp. told a Pennsylvania federal court Friday, seeking to end a proposed class action claiming such tests violate the disability statute.
