Hybrid Ruling Upheld, Royalties Vacated For Toyota

Law360 (October 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit upheld a ruling Thursday that Toyota Motor Corp. infringed one of the patents in a long-running suit over its hybrid cars and ordered the district court to reassess the $25 ongoing royalty payment it had demanded for every infringing car the company sold.
