On Stand, Broker Attacks Spector Gadon's $1M Fraud Claim

Law360, Philadelphia (September 18, 2012, 9:10 PM EDT) -- Southwest Securities Inc. broker Leighton Stallones told a federal jury Tuesday that civil allegations he helped a now-bankrupt real estate developer perpetrate a million-dollar fraud on Philadelphia law firm Spector Gadon & Rosen PC were untrue.

Stallones, who is accused of misrepresenting the value of accounts belonging to developer Stephen Jemal, emphasized that he never shared details about Jemal’s accounts with a Spector Gadon attorney and that emails purportedly sent from his account were forgeries.
