Miners Lose Appeal In Lifetime Benefits Case

Law360, New York (October 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a setback for a union and retired coal mine workers, a federal appeals court has affirmed that a coal company’s health plan that guaranteed its workers lifetime health benefits is no longer valid.
