Judge Sinks Tycoon's Kazakh Oil Suit Against Shell, Total

Law360, Wilmington (September 18, 2012, 10:42 PM EDT) -- Oil tycoon Jack J. Grynberg saw his Kazakh oil claims against energy giants Total SA and Royal Dutch Shell PLC tossed from a third venue Tuesday, as a Delaware federal judge dismissed his complaint and imposed sanctions on plaintiffs and counsel for filing the “frivolous” lawsuit.
