34 LA Fire Victims Can Bring Joint Insurance Case

Law360, Los Angeles (September 18, 2012, 5:52 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court revived a lawsuit Monday accusing the state's last-resort insurer of breaching contracts and committing unfair business practices by denying and minimizing claims for homes damaged in Los Angeles County's largest-ever fire, saying 34 homeowners can bring a joint lawsuit.
