Judge Revives N.J. Firefighters’ Race Bias Case

Law360 (October 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A New Jersey district judge has reopened a racial discrimination suit brought by a group of firefighters against the City of Newark more than a year after an appeals court determined that the city could not authorize a race-based transfer policy in order to diversify the fire department.
