NBC Stole 'Wicked Fit' Trademark, Fitness Center Says

Law360, New York (September 20, 2012, 12:49 PM EDT) -- A South Carolina gym called Wicked Fitness hit NBCUniversal Media LLC with a trademark infringement suit Wednesday, claiming the media conglomerate's Style Network ripped off the name for its reality show “Wicked Fit.”

Wicked Fitness LLC says Style's show — in which a former beauty queen with a Boston accent pushes women through an intense workout regimen — is going to confuse viewers into believing that it's somehow affiliated with their gym.
