Zenon Sues U.S. Filter Corp. Over Patents

Law360, New York (October 12, 2003, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Canadian water treatment company Zenon Environmental Inc. has filed a lawsuit in California against rival U.S. Filter Corp., claiming patent infringement, the Canadian Press reported.

Zenon is seeking damages and an injunction to stop the sale, manufacture and use of U.S. Filter's MemJet and CFM-S products, which Zenon claims infringe on patents issued in the U.S. The suit concerns to the use of air cycling to keep membranes clean in water filtration systems.
