JPMorgan May Have Misled Regulators, FERC Claims

Law360, New York (September 20, 2012, 4:30 PM EDT) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission said Thursday that a JPMorgan Chase & Co. energy unit submitted misleading or incomplete materials to the commission in a dispute with California’s regional transmission organization.

FERC called on JP Morgan Ventures Energy Corp. to demonstrate that it didn't violate commission rules and justify why the commission shouldn't suspend its authorization to sell electricity, capacity and other services at market rates.
