Judge Tosses Vendor's Price Discrimination Claims

Law360, New York (October 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Connecticut federal judge on Thursday all but gutted bar code scanner vendor Data Capture Solutions Inc.'s price discrimination suit against supplier Symbol Technologies Inc., saying that discriminatory price quotes to bidders didn't constitute Robinson-Patman violations.

Judge Janet Hall handed down the decision just as Data Capture filed papers in a related breach of contract suit that Symbol had filed against it, fanning the flames of an ongoing discovery dispute there.
