Ex-Detroit Mayor Loses Bid For New Venue As Trial Begins

Law360, New York (September 21, 2012, 7:40 PM EDT) -- An Illinois federal judge on Thursday declined to move the venue of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick's corruption trial, which began Friday after Kilpatrick argued the intense media scrutiny of his case would prejudice a jury.
