Penn State Hires 9/11 Fund Atty To Settle Sandusky Claims

Law360, Philadelphia (September 20, 2012, 5:36 PM EDT) -- Pennsylvania State University has retained the lawyer who oversaw the federal compensation fund for victims of Sept. 11 to help facilitate the settlement of all personal injury claims flowing from the Jerry Sandusky child molestation scandal, it announced Thursday.

Both Kenneth Feinberg and his partner, Michael Rozen, of Feinberg and Rozen LLP, will work to assist the university, Sandusky’s victims and their counsel, with the goal of resolving all outstanding and anticipated litigation by the end of the year, according to Penn State.
