Judge Bats Down Appeal In WorldCom Case

Law360 (October 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A district court judge has rejected the appeal of a potential claimant in the WorldCom bankruptcy case, handing the reorganized and renamed telecommunications giant a win as it continues to tie up the loose ends of its long-standing Chapter 11 case.

On Friday, U.S. District Judge Richard Berman denied the appeal brought by HSG/ATN Inc., ruling that the bankruptcy judge had issued the correct decision regarding its administrative claim.
