SanDisk Tells Fed. Circ. Patent Suit Will 'Open Floodgates'

Law360, Washington (October 5, 2012, 8:10 PM EDT) -- Allowing parties that have no risk of being targeted for patent infringement to raise patent fraud claims under antitrust law will “open the floodgates” to a host of unwarranted actions, SanDisk Corp. told the Federal Circuit on Friday, seeking dismissal of Ritz Camera & Image LLC's proposed class action.
