Eckert Seamans Snags Ex-J&J Counsel To Boost IP Practice

Law360, New York (October 2, 2012, 3:27 PM EDT) -- Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott has bolstered its intellectual property practice with the addition of a former in-house counsel at Johnson & Johnson who helped manage the multinational company's vast portfolio of pharmaceutical trademarks, the firm said.

Laurence S. Rickles served in various capacities at Johnson & Johnson for more than 17 years, most recently as the company's associate trademark counsel. In that role, Rickles worked to protect several high-profile Johnson & Johnson brands, including Tylenol pain relievers and OneTouch blood glucose meters, the firm said...
