Securities Sales Rep. Pleads Guilty To Fraud

Law360, New York (October 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former sales representative of Capital 1st Financial pleaded guilty Friday to securities fraud stemming from his role in allegedly fraudulent securities offerings that raised approximately $55 million from investors.

Vincent John Bazemore Jr., 33, of Denton, Texas, is scheduled to be sentenced in February by a judge in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. He faces a maximum statutory sentence of five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and restitution.
