Bankrupt K-V Fights Hologic Bid To Reacquire Makena Rights

Law360, New York (September 24, 2012, 4:20 PM EDT) -- Ailing drugmaker K-V Pharmaceutical Co. on Thursday told a New York federal judge that creditor Hologic Inc. is trying to skirt bankruptcy law by seeking worldwide rights to Makena, a drug that prevents premature birth, and is wrongly suggesting the potential blockbuster medicine is rapidly losing value.
