Apple Likely To Win Samsung Ban, But Devil's In The Details

By Ryan Davis (September 24, 2012, 9:51 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc. is expected to win its sought-after ban on numerous Samsung Electronics Co. smartphones and tablets found to have infringed its patents at trial last month, but the wording of the injunction will make all the difference in terms of how it affects Samsung's business, attorneys said Monday.

In post-trial motions filed Friday, Apple sought an additional $707 million in damages on top of the $1.05 billion the jury awarded in August, along with a permanent injunction.
