CERCLA Bars Gas Plant Site Contamination Suit, Judge Finds

Law360, New York (September 24, 2012, 5:22 PM EDT) -- A Washington federal judge on Monday dismissed a complaint by two conservation groups over Washington Gas Light Co.’s alleged deficiencies in cleaning up contamination from a former gas manufacturing facility, ruling a settlement with the U.S. over cleanup at the site bars the suit.
