Law360, Washington (September 24, 2012, 7:29 PM EDT) -- Hess Corp. and several other oil giants urged the Fifth Circuit on Friday to reaffirm the dismissal of a putative class action alleging their greenhouse gas emissions ultimately strengthened Hurricane Katrina and caused property damage, saying the plaintiffs are attempting a second bite of the apple.
