House Republicans Say Geithner Must Produce Delphi Docs

Law360, New York (September 28, 2012, 6:54 PM EDT) -- House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and committee member Mike Turner, R-Ohio, sent Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner a letter Friday urging compliance with document requests related to the pension scandal at Delphi Corp.

It's the second such request made to the agency, following recent media reports indicating that it was directly involved in decisions that caused 20,000 Delphi retirees to take pension cuts following the bailout of the automotive industry, according to a press release.
