Magnetic Toys Focus Of Another Recall

Law360, New York (October 23, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- More than 100,000 children's backpacks have been recalled following reports that magnets from a game included with the bags can come loose, posing a swallowing risk for kids.

While no injuries have been reported, officials heard from three consumers that magnets came loose, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Tuesday.

The recall included about 110,000 of "Cars" movie-themed-backpacks, which were imported by New York-based Global Design Concepts Inc. from China. The backpacks were sold at Target Corp. stores from February through September for about $13....
