Law360, New York (September 28, 2012, 6:24 PM EDT) -- Whirlpool Corp. and LG Electronics Inc. have put to rest a series of long-running disputes over refrigerator patents, with the parties having agreed to settle three separate infringement cases in Delaware and New Jersey federal courts, the companies said on Friday.
In a joint statement, the home appliance makers said that they had ironed out an agreement that would resolve the companies' infringement back-and-forth, which has been ongoing since 2008. The companies said the terms of the settlement are confidential.
