Integrys Energy Shells Out $440M For Wis. Power Generator

Law360, New York (October 1, 2012, 1:08 PM EDT) -- Chicago-based natural gas and utility company Integrys Energy Group has acquired a Wisconsin power generator from Tyr Energy Inc. and General Electric Co. for $440 million, Integrys said Monday.

The energy holding company, which has operations throughout the Midwest, said it acquired Fox Energy through subsidiary Wisconsin Public Service Corp. The bulk of the purchase price, some $390 million, will go toward a Fox Energy-owned, 593-megawatt generation facility in Wisconsin.
