Interthinx Beats CoreLogic Real Estate Appraisal IP Claims

Law360, New York (October 1, 2012, 4:43 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal jury said Friday that CoreLogic Information Systems Inc. had not convinced it that Verisk Analytics Inc. subsidiary Interthinx Inc. had infringed a patent covering automated valuation models for real estate appraisal.

The jury found for Interthinx on CoreLogic's two infringement claims, but also said Interthinx hadn't shown that those claims were invalid in view of prior art. 

“We think this concludes the matter, and we're very pleased with the noninfringement verdict,” said McCarter & English LLP's Lee Carl Bromberg, an attorney for Interthinx....
