Musicland Disputes Wachovia's $25M Claim

Law360 (October 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Liquidating Musicland Holdings Corp. is fighting against an attempt by Wachovia Bank to get more than $25 million in claims to pay for a suit brought against the bank by several entertainment giants.

In a motion filed Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, Musicland asked a judge to expunge the claim, arguing that it wasn't filed in a timely fashion.
